I can't remember the last time a UFC event was stacked with so many former champions. On Saturday night, six former champs will go head to head and many of the night's fights will have title implications. Faber vs. Bowles may very well determine who gets the next shot at the UFC Bantamweight strap. Both men are former WEC champs and a win for either will put them one step closer to getting back the gold. Shogun vs. Hendo has very similar implications as a win for either will propel them right in to the epicenter of the Lightweight title picture. Throw in the former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion (Cung Le) vs. the Axe Murderer himself (Wanderlei Silva) and what you have is a stellar, action packed card.
Such a monstrous card deserves a tribute. As such, I'll be bringing you my favorite highlight videos made for each one of the former champions fighting at UFC 139. Some of you out there may not be acquainted with a few of the fighters on this card. Is there any better way to get familiar with them? We'll start with the "little guys."
Faber vs. Bowles has all the potential to be the fight of the night. There's no doubt that these two will put on a great show for the fans.
