UFC 137 PREDICTION CONTEST **Amended**

UFC 137 is almost upon us!

In honor of two of my favorite fighters of all time fighting in the main event, I've decided to host the first ever KneeBar Reactions prediction contest!  So I hope you're all ready to make your picks!

Whenever we host a UFC party at my house, we always play a prediction game for the main card.  I'll be using that game as the basis for this contest.

The Rules:

Here's how it goes.  First and foremost, only one entry per person.  Please do not make multiple picks.  That will result in an immediate disqualification.  Other than that, it's pretty simple.

In the comments section of this post please make your picks for all five main event fights + the two fights on the Spike TV prelims (Under "comment as" please make sure you post with a name of some kind.  If you post as Anonymous you will not be eligible to win).

So that's a total of seven overall picks.  Every pick must contain the following:

1.  Fighter you are picking to win
2.  Which Round he wins it in.
3.  How he will win the fight.

Example of a pick: Donald Cerrone, KO, RD 2.

The scoring will be done as follows.

Pick the correct fighter = 1 point
Pick the correct Round = 1 point
Pick the correct finish  = 1 point
Get all three correct    = 1 point bonus

Draws will result in 0 points and will count as a push for everyone.

That means you can potentially score 4 points per fight.  Who ever has the most points at the end of the event will be the winner!  It's that simple!

I'll be keeping everyone's point totals after this event and if I get a good enough response, I'll start doing one of these for every major event until the end of the year.  Whoever has the most points at the end of the year will win a Grand Prize that has yet to be named (I promise it'll be something worth having).

**In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by who has the most 4 point picks (picking Fighter, Rd, and method of win correctly for one fight) at the end of the night.  If that still does not produce a winner, or if no one has any 4 point picks, ties will then be decided by who picked the most correct method of wins (i.e. submission, KO, Dec).  It will then carry on to most correct Rounds, and most correct fighters until a winner can be decided.

In the off chance that still does not produce a winner, ties will then be decided through a tie breaker trivia question that I post on twitter.  First one to answer wins.

(The tie breaker question will be a random trivia question about one of our main event competitors, Nick Diaz or B.J. Penn)

Winners will be announced on the Monday following the event.  A list of everyone who participated and their point totals will also be posted.

I'll let everyone know when the list is up via twitter, so follow me @TheGuardFighter.

The Prize:

In honor of the two legends fighting in the main event, the winner will have a choice of one of two prizes.

1.  A RVCA BJ Penn UFC 137 Cornerman T Shirt

2. A Metal Mulisha Nick Diaz UFC 137 walkout t-shirt

Please allow 1-2 weeks for shipping.

Well that's pretty much it.  Thanks in advance to everyone for participating.  Tell your friends, your parents, your co-workers....it doesn't matter.  Who doesn't like winning free shit, you know?

Enjoy the fights everyone and goodluck to all the participants!
